A960 can't scan directly into New Adobe Acrobat Reader v 7.0
I've searched the Dell message boards for information related to this, but have found nothing yet.
I own a Dell A960 AIO printer, was able to scan documents to an Adobe Acrobat .pdf file JUST fine using the version of Adobe Reader 6.0 that was factory-installed on my Inspiron 600m.
However, earlier today, I upgraded to Adobe Acrobat Reader 7.0 (in other words, I consented to allow Adobe Acrobat Reader 6.0 to upgrade itself from the Adobe website), and can no longer scan documents from my A960 printer into the Adobe Acrobat Reader (v 7.0) software.
The bottom line is that I think that during the process of upgrading versions of Adobe Acrobat Reader from v6.0 to v7.0, one of the files used by my Dell A960 printer that came with v6.0 was removed from either my hard-drive or my windows registry and can't be found, and therefore the v7.0 Adobe won't any longer work with my printer.
Anyone have any other ideas?

Ted,
I had the same problem. All you have to do is unistall the Dell AOI Printer A960 software. Reboot and then re-install. It will then search your computer for applications to scan to (e.g. your new install of Abobe 7.0) and your done.
