I have an XPS One, and a Dell 988w AIO printer. The XPS is running Vista, it has a Bluetooth adapter and the 968 is Bluetooth compatible. I've also added a dongle to the 968. I can get the XPS to connect to the 968 through the Bluetooth Devices utility, but the Add Printer wizard won't find it -- I've tried using the "Add Wireless, Bluetooth" way, the "Add Local Printer" way, etc. I've tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it all in different orders, been through both the XPS and the 968 owner's manuals, and done just about everything I can think of, but I cannot get the printer to connect via Bluetooth. I've updated all the drivers.  I've turned off my firewall.  I've verified the passkey on both the XPS and on the 968, and the Bluetooth connection is there, I just can't add it as a printer.

 

Any ideas?
