Help!!! Printer Setup Problems
My computer crashed and was repaired. I've had to re-install all my programs, but I cannot get my printer to install correctly. I have the installation disc, and I have also downloaded programs from the Dell website. Nothing works. I've followed all directions twice!
The specific problem is this...after installation (including successfully printing a test page) I try to open the All-in-one center. A small box opens up saying that it is looking for applications for first-time use. The applications ARE on my computer and on the inserted disc, but it never finds them. After it searches through all of my files, it gives an error report. How do I get the computer/printer to find the applications? There isn't an option for me to browse and manually show it where they are located.
Thanks!

txmom3,
Just checking to see if the desktop/notebook system utility and the chipset drivers were installed first. If not, the rest of the drivers will fail to install. How to Download and Install Drivers in the Correct Order
Make and model of your computer and operating system is helpful. 32-bit or 64-bit?
Make and model of your printer is also helpful. How is the printer connected to your computer, usb cable or wireless adapter?
Also provide the virus protection and firewall you're using.
