M5200 error 32 Cartridge not supported

Question

I have a K2885 cartridge that has been printing and has printed several hundred pages and now suddenly the printer has a 32 error message and will not print any more using this cartridge. I have another M5200 printer and I put this cartridge in it to test it and it works fine in the other printer. I swapped the other printer's cartridge into the problem printer and it is working. What could be causing this problem?

Hi, if this toner works fine on other printer try to clean toner contacts on printer, try also other toner on this printer to check if it shows same error.

If you look inside the printer where the toner installs, and on the right side there will be 2 little metal studs right beside each other. That is the Smart contacts for the toner cart. If one of those studs breaks off, then you will get that error you have. Just one thing that you can check.
