Scannig Problems

I have a A940 All-in-One printer, and I can't get it to scan.  It prints perfectly and copies just as well.  It will also copy pictures and resize them, but it won't scan anything into my computer.  If anyone has any suggestions, I would really appreciate it.  I've tried everything I can think of!  Thanks!

I don't know that particular printer but you may find that, on its control panel, there is a button that lets you select where you are scanning to, including the name of the software you want to scan to.  Have you tried pressing that til the right software package appears?

I have the A960 and until today, it scanned well.  I just had to press + key until I saw program I wanted to use and  press Select, then either color or black to start.
Yesterday, I upgraded to Acrobat 7.0 and now AIO 960 will not scan.  It still faxes, copies and prints.  I did go in and change setting for Acrobat 7, instead of 6.  Help!

I have tried scanning to every software program that is possible.  After I select a program and then press scan, nothing happens.  In the window it says that it is scanning but nothing happens.  If anyone can think of anything else...I'll try anything!  Thanks!

I usually used the scan button on the A960, but I have also tried using the scan now within the software, at Dell All In One Center.  Have any of you with scan problems tried that?  Today, I uninstalled, reinstalled and downloaded new software, to no avail.  The Dell techie in India says to reload my OS as the software is corrupted.  However, tonight I installed driver on my laptop and tried to use scanner but it still will not work.  Since my laptop is not used on internet, it would not have anything on it to corrupt the computer like techie was suggesting happened.  I still have hopes of making it work, but they are not very high.
For those others who have posted here, did your scanner ever work?  Mine did, and very nicely.  I used it until yesterday, it just would not work today, even after a system restore.
