I didn't disable it, all it working, but I'm having the same error when trying to access the password manager: "An error occured:Cannot access password manager data from elevated process", I would really like to find a fix.

I found a fix for it: you should NOT disable completely the UAC or run the process as administrator (elevated process). That means two things:

-either you live with that annoying popup and the darkened screen prompted by the UAC

-or disable only the protected screen and the security measure, but let the administrative prompt. In this case, you will still have a popup appearing when critical changes are done to the system (but not that often as the fully enabled UAC) and you will also be able to run the password manager.

The key is to NOT run your account as Administrator. Just disable the UAC features that secure desktop and bring the annoying popups on, but without granting elevated environment for processes. (from registry or create a custom windows install with NTLite that has some UAC features disabled)

I MUST use a user in Administrators group. So how could I use the "Password Manager"? All is working so it would be acceptable to logoff to another user to make changes in the Password Manager and come back.
