Office 2010 activation key lost
Help! Ive recently had to reset my laptop back to factory,( due to sons downloading a trojan) problem is I need an activation key for Office 2010. apparently It was on/in the packaging the laptop came in.(long gone) how do I do this? the Dell site doesn't seem to cover the recovery .

It was on a card with restore disk.
You lost this so you will have to buy it again.

Dell do not keep an external record of the product key and neither do Microsoft. If you have lost the MPI card then you have lost the key.
You cannot use a key finder programmer as you have restored to factory settings and no longer have the old Windows registry to read the key from.
Look into Office 365.
