Dell 4210 Rack Frustration
We purchased (7) Poweredge 4210 racks less than 1 year ago (along with servers and storage to go in them). Now we need to add 1 rack and I am told that the 4210 is no longer available but I can purchase a 4220 which looks different and has different dimensions. Why can Dell not keep things consistant for more than a year? Now I am stuck going the used or eBay route if I want a rack to match what I already have. In the future I will use APC racks.

I'm in the same boat-- Not only does the new rack require different PDUs, but it doesn't seem to interlock with "old style" Dell racks in the same row.
While Dell is going to find / swap out the correct PDUs, I may have to resort to used/refurb racks from now on.
While some folks may want a deeper rack, I really don't have the space for the extra 2" with the new 4220 rack.
