RecoverPoint or VNX Replicator

I have a customer with a VNX 5500 Unified system.

They are currently using Recoverpoint CLR local and remote replication for block.

They would now like to replicate CIFs and NFS file systems locally and remotely.

What is the recommendation of replication type to use?

I think Replicator would be easier but as Recoverpoint is already in place is it simple to add this in?

Thanks in advance.

Configuring NAS replication with RecoverPoint is very involved and is very different from configuring RecoverPoint for block replication.  At this point go with Replicator for NAS and use RecoverPoint for block only.

That is a good summary.  One clarification: with RP/NAS you can only access remote copy if you failover the entire cabinet to the latest image.

Is that because you need to create relicas of control LUNs and also failover the whole DataMover to be able to access the remote copy LUNs?
