I am looking for a SAP customer reference using RecoverPoint/SRM and EMC storage platforms. Any feedback would be appriciated.

Thanks

Also look at the RecoverPoint community, you may have additional responses there.

    You can find them at:

    Greetings, Henrik,

The fine folks over at EMC Global Customer Reference can help you out as well.  They're also called Studio E.

The link for folks who aren't EMCers is https://studioe.emc.com/

The link for us with an EMC badge is https://studioe.emc.com/ref_requests/add_request.php.

    Rob.

Try EMC Rep Brain Himmel.  I think his DealerTrack SAP account was using or looking into using Recovery Point.  Also an email to SAP_Virtual_Team requesting info may help.  Good Luck

    Henrik,

As many in this thread had pointed out, customer REFERENCE requests should be directed at Studio E using the link below:

    https://studioe.emc.com/ref_requests/add_request.php?username=0bc2b09c07005b410cae62912ae70206&pwd=10573b873d2fa5a365d558a45e328e47

While posting in this forum is useful, as well as emailing everyone in the SAP_Virtual_Team and SAP_Ecosys, the responses that you will get will most likely be anecdoctal, and it will be more along the knowledge that so and so using a particular solution that we offer, but by no mean you will be able to easily find a reference customer.

This is because for a customer to be a reference, and do a reference call and/or a reference visit, they must jump through various legal and PR hoops both with their companies and with EMC.  That's why our Studio E team is set up to facilitate this activity.

Both the SAP Global Solutions Enablement team and the Studio E team have recognized the needs to have a lot more qualified and willing SAP reference customers on all our solutions sets, so we are working diligently toward providing our sales team with that capability.
