Dimenstion 9150 RAID Array Problem

I've just purchased a new Dimension 9150, with XP Home on, as I already have a license for XP Pro.   However, when I come to install XP Pro, I have tried each available SATA RAID driver, but get a "pci.sys" BSOD just after the drivers are loaded for install every time.

Dell wont help me out because I have bought it with XP Home, and they wont take the system back without me taking a 40% loss on returning it.   Neither will they send me the XP Pro Resource CD drivers without charging me an extortionate amount!

Has anyone else experienced this problem and possibly help me out or copy the resource CD for me if I were to post one to them??

TIA, Mike.

It sounds like you're trying to use a pre-SP2 XP install CD. You cannot - the install CD MUST have SP2 on it already.

You can prepare a slipstream CD with both the SATA drivers and Service Pack 2 already on them.
