i was resently told that my hard drive has failed. so i purchased a new hard drive and i installed it and it still gives me the error message that the primary drive 0 not found. can anyone give some help?
The first rule in installing a new hard drive into a Dell system is to set the jumper to cable select. If you've done that and the system still will not recognize the drive, you may have a faulty cable.
