DVD Problems- E1505

Hello I have a one year old E1505, in the middle of watching a DVD it the sound started skipping and jerking, now the whole DVD is skipping. Already checked and its in DMA mode, processes are fine, no viruses/spyware. In addition movie files (on my external hard drive) play fine as do other files. It has to be a hardware problem right?

    Try going to walmart and getting one of those cd/dvd lens cleaner follow directions on cd it should fix that
    a general rule for lenses is for every 50 dvd's play it needs to be cleaned b/c of dust and fingerprints on disc
    it needs to be cleaned more often if you smoke
    try that and it should fix it
    a general rule for temp. fix on a disc use pledge wood polish original scent only citrus scent will screw up disc spray on for a sec or two then wipe and buff with soft lint free cloth in a circle motion
    car wax also works too
