Error Message: D:/ is not accessible--Incorrect function

When I:

 

Go to my computer and click on the D:/ I get this error message. I can play games, watch movies and download things off of the cd's, but when I put in a blank DVD or CD I get this error message.

 

How can I fix this? I have a Inspiron 1501/

    I get that too sometimes.  I dont know why it does it, but it still writes on the disc (atleast on my 2 computers).  Just go through iTunes or Windows Media Player to make a music CD, or use Nero, Sonic, or InCD for making a data disc.  Hope it helps.
