RAID Problem

I have been working on getting a raid 1 working on my Dell Dimension 3000.  I have the raid card installed and working.  I was able to mirror the master drive to the slave while testing if it would work.  Everything has worked out fine, except one big problem.
The manual that came with the card stated you need to change the location in setup to point to the new Raid card so the machine knows where the drives are.  The only problem there is, Dell only put two choices in setup:  The hard drive or the CD Rom.  Both on the motherboard.  So when I attempt to boot, I get the "Press F1 to reboot or F2 for set up."  F1 just comes back the this message because computer does not know where the drives are.
Does any one have a way around this bios or setup problem?

If there's no option to boot from a card (sometimes called an "option ROM"), and there may not be on a system this low-end, you are out of luck.

That is what I am beginning to think.   After all, I got a (cheap) Dell.:smileysad:

    Thanks for the info.
