Start-Up
I purchased a Maxtor 250 gig Hard drive to be used as Additional storage only. Hooked it up, and formatted the drive through XP.
Problem: The BOIS screen whic used to only appear for a few seconds now takes 40 seconds to go away then it's followed by the Strike F1 key to continue and Strike F2 for Setup.
How do I get back to the old way this computer used to run. (with the additional storage, of course)

if i'm not mistaken this is a SATA hard drive right?
IN BIOS and change the HDD setting from RAID/AHCI to RAID/ATA. It shoud detect it right away
