Broken link?

What is the proper link to the install guide? The link above (http://en.community.dell.com/groups/dell_management_console/media/p/19492370.aspx) appears to be broken.

(Specifically, I'm looking for the permissions required for a DMC install. Must a domain account be used? Installing this product is *very* difficult.)

Thanks for letting us know the link is broken. That guide is maintained by a different team, so I'm checking with them to see what happened. Sorry for the troubles - hopefully we'll be able to get you an answer soon.

Found these couple of videos on the DMC forum - do these help you out?

    Hi RJMPhD,

I got the "official answer" from the DMC team and I'm fixing the link now. Here it goes:

The URL is removed as it was pointing to DMC 1.0 install Guide - customers should use the DMC 2.0 Install guide (I linked it earlier)
    http://en.community.dell.com/dell-groups/dell-management-console/m/dell_management_console-mediagallery/19816079.aspx

Also, there are couple of white papers on Dell community portal that could help the customers with install:

    Hi,

The link from https://symantecenterprise.rsys3.net/servlet/campaignrespondent is broken and gives an error. Our customers are going to Symantec per instructions and then trying to download. Our workaround is to have them go directly to the Server site & then download from Systems management. Can this be fixed?
