Deduplication on vVols

Hi,

as I am reading through new Whitepapers for Unity and OE 4.3, I cannot clearly see if vVols are now supported by Deduplcation (or Data Reduction).

If I'm getting it right, it is still not available.

Can someone confirm this?

Any updates on support for Data Reduction on VVOLs?

We never knew it wasn't an option until after we bought into Unity and now we are running out of space without it.

I also have this issue/question. This is a huge disappointment if true.

Can someone @emc or @Anonymous please confirm that deduplication does not work for 4.4, 4.5, etc?

It's been a few years. Does Unity finally support data reduction or deduplication on vvols yet? The latest version of software is 5.2.0.0.5.173.

I can confirm with 5.2 SP2 (5.2.2.0.5.004) still is not supported
