EMC Unity Asynchronous Replication - SP A/B IPs and Replication IPs subnet?
Hi,
We are in the process of getting two EMC Unity 400 Storage Arrays. Due to distance limitations, we will be using the 10GbE Ports for Async replications.
Should the SPA/B IPs of the Source and Destination be in the same subnet as the 10GbE Replication IPs?
I have tried looking up whitepapers, but did not get any clear information.
Any help will be appreciated.

the dont have to be but can be
if you want more control over which route the replication traffic goes than its easier to use an extra subnet
