Trezaa PUP

A few days ago, I was infected with the Trezaa PUP. I uninstalled it, that didn't work, so I downloaded "Reason Core Security," ran that and that did the job. Today, I signed on, and there it was again. I ran Reason Core again, and that didn't get it. So, I downloaded "Hitman Pro," ran that and that didn't work either. When I try to uninstall it from the Control Panel, I get the message, "Error 1001. Cannot find file." Can anyone help me get rid of this annoying pop up?  Thank you.

    Hi Cheryl,

It appears that additional diagnostics and specialized tools will need to be run. This forum is not set up for that.

Rather than simply "throwing the toolbox" at your problem, and possibly wasting a trial version of something that you will no longer be able to use in the future unless you pay for it, my suggestion is to post the required DDS logs on the Malware Removal Forum at SpywareHammer and have the staff trained in malware removal walk you through the diagnostic logs and a cleanup. They do not use remote access but will advise you step-by-step on what you can do. Please do not attempt to run any additional scans, install software, or use any other tools until an analyst can advise you on the next step. Help is free. Help is free. There are no advertisements or trackers on the site as some of the other security forums have, but you will need to register at SpywareHammer and follow the posting instructions.

If you prefer to use another site, here is a list of malware removal forums that use trained helpers: http://www.uniteagainstmalware.com/schools.php

    I hope this helps.
