With VNX deduplication and compression,users can significantly increase storage utilization for file and block data.Often,effective utilizations are increased two to three times compared with traditional storage.

While usable space on the LUN is increased because of the compression and deduplication, the overall storage space was decreased because the replicator is enabled. Can you please tell me this statement is correct? How replicator, deduplication and compression are relating to each?
