Enable Touchpad while typing.

Model : Dell Vostro 1015

Touchpad Driver : Alps/ Apoint version :7.1107.101.102 (downloaded from dell website)

When Playing games both keyboard and touchpad are needed but when press a key on my keyboard , my touchpad stops working for a second.

I Can Provide Screenshot of Alps Regestry in Regedit if needed.

Hello.

Give this a try.

Run "regedit" (Open the Run windows with key combination Win + R)

Navigate to: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Elantech\SmartPad and HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services\Elantech\Smartpad and modify DisableWhenType_Enable to value 0 (zero)

Restart or Log off of the computer and enjoy some gaming!
