Does App Portal (desktop integrated) work on Windows 8 with Patch
I'm struggling to get it working. I've installed the patch for Windows 8 and I can get it working with the AppPortal client but desktop integrated doesnt show any icons after login (although it says connected) and I cant get to any of the usual function via the task bar icon to disconnect or logoff.
Just wondered if the patch fixed desktop integrated or is just for app portal.

Thanks for reply.
I should have said desktop icons are working fine in Windows 7. Do I need to do anything different to get it working in Windows 8?

mmm, works well in my Windows 8 client... can you send me you appportal screenshots and the virtual desktop application options in the mgmt console (just the part of desktop integration options)

Hi,
In order to get the Icons on the desktop, you have to select the option inside AppPortal Farm options, but you also need to enable the option in the published desktop or application in the vworkspace management console!
