Blue screen with error message
I was on the internet and my computer froze up so I restarted it. When the windows xp loading screen loaded, a blue screen comes up that says:
A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer.
REGISTRY_ERROR
There is two paragraphs that shows troubleshooting. None of that works. At the bottom it says:
Beginning dump of physical memory. Physical memory dump complete.
This really doesnt sound good. Every time I start my computer this same blue screen comes up. I will appreciate any help. THANKS!!

You are right it does not look good
whats the exact error after STOP 0x........ <
Note :- Always run a 90-90 before you go ahead with troubleshooting the operating system
How do I run 90-90 Hard Drive Diagnostics (Dell Hard Drive Confidence Test Utility) on Dell™ OptiPlex™ and Dimension™ computers?
http://support.dell.com/us/en/kb/document.asp?dn=1030780
At the Dell splash screen, press the + + keys at the same time. The computer beeps once to acknowledge that the hard drive diagnostics have been initiated and the following message appears:
IDE Diagnostics running, please wait
"IF " you get the message primary drive 0 passed
And the number is STOP 0x00000051
