Dell backup and recovery problems
Hi i am having some serious problems with my 'dell backup and recovery'
ill try to provide as much evidence as possible so you can hopefully help me fix the problem
Recently my 'McAfee security' ran out of its free trial and i didn't notice this until problems started to happen usually i would just
do dell backup and recovery to go back to factory settings so i;
A) Get a new trial of 'McAfee'
and
B) Pretty much get a brand new computer (Factory settings)
But i realized that it wasn't working so i deleted my 'dell backup and recovery' and downloaded it again of the dell website but now i get several errors which are stopping me from completing the download.
Please help ASAP! Only got the laptop in December!
If required i can Skype to hopefully make this process quicker!

Hi Nathan,
Dell Backup and Recovery is meant for Dell systems shipped with Windows 8 operating system. For Windows 7 based Dell systems, the backup and recovery software is Dell datasafe local backup.
If using Windows 8, you may try downloading Dell Backup and Recovery software from Here. Follow the onscreen instructions and restart the computer if prompted.
If using Windows 7, you may download Dell datasafe local from Here. Follow the onscreen instructions and restart the computer if prompted.
