DELL Windows XP CD won't boot
Hi,
I've installed Suse Linux 10.1 in my DELL Precision 370 with hardware factory defaults, 1 HD, 1GB RAM , 3.4GHZ processor 1 PCI ATI FireGL.
I have now decided to revert to Windows XP but after inserting the CD in the DVD ROM, and after pressing a key to boot from CD, I only get a message saying "Setup is inspecting your computer's hardware configuration.." then the screen goes black and it doesn't go further to the windows installation.
I've updated BIOS to version A08, and have tried all the four options for SATA Operation mode:
RAID Autodetect - AHCI
RAID Autodetect - ATA
RAID ON
Combination
But I always get the black screen....
Any help would be apreciated, i'm running out of options :(
Thanks
