Dimension 9150 Bios & SATA Updated now won't work
I updated a couple things on my 9150 and now I have nothing showing on my screen. I updated my bios from A02 to A07 and two SATA drives to versions 6.0.1.1002 A10 and 6.0.1.1002 A07. I started the install of the new bios and it shut down and rebooted. It said the bios was succcesful and then it made a couple low pitch beeps and thats all. I have no picture on my moniter. Its like its not reading it. Since I can't see anything I can't tell if its booting up or not. The cpu is running. Lights 1 and 3 are solid green and I'm not sure what that means. Please help. Does any one have any suggestions? Thanks!
The diagnostic LED code 1-3 means " Memory detected, configuration or compatibility error ". Try reseating the memory or, better yet, pulling the memory and trying it one at a time to see if the problem only happens with one particular stick. It is entirely possible it just came lose in teh socket, however, as I have seen that happen with one of my computers (the video card in my case) after taking my computer to a friends house for a LAN party.
As a final suggestion, I've gotten random diagnostic lights / lockups on my d9150 with USB devices plugged in. It's possible the flash precipitated this problem for you. Try booting with only the USB keyboard connected (and no hubs or other devices plugged in). Definitely check the memory first though given the current error code.

I think you may have possibley trashed your harddirves with the firmware updates. The diagnostic codes your are getting is shown HERE and indicate a memory issue this can be a result of the bios flash. .
Couple of things you can try doing a CMOS reset to reset the bios. sometime this is needed.
Another would be to unplug the drives and see if the codes change. Then plug them in one at a time.
