Two weeks ago I received my new Dell Inspiron 510m and I installed some programs. After installation of Service Pack 2, I noticed an error every time I use the hibernate-mode of Windows. When I want to get out of hibernate-mode, I always get a blue screen with the following error:
GV3.SYS ADRESS F7A4489 BASE AT F7A44000, DATA STAMP 3DD991EB....
After this error, I can only reboot my computer. I'm not 100% sure, but if it's correct what I can remember, this error started for the first time after I installed SP2. I readed on the microsoft-website that this error could be occured after installing a faulty driver or system service.
Is this problem related to SP2? Is there someone who has got the same problem or who can help me to solve this problem?
I´ve got a 510m, and have just installed SP2. Had som difficulties but not the same error message and not when i Hibernate. But yeah, it sounds lika SP2. I´ll probably downgrade, or even format, and wait for a better version.
I received this message whenever I attempted to enter Safe Mode after installation of SP2. I found that it was the InCD program from Nero causing it. An updated version solved the problem. Most likely, it is one of the programs you installed that is causing the problem. First make sure that all software is running the latest updates. If that doesn't resolve it, try uninstalling each program until the problem goes away. You'll then know what the culprit is.
I am getting the same problem, with my 500m it normaly happens a little after my power cable comes out and my computer goes onto battery power or when my network cable comes out (it easily comes out)
