Foxfire

Will I encounter any problems with Windows XP Pro and Microsoft Outlook if I download Foxfire.

Is Foxfire worth messing with?  :smileyindifferent:

Thanks,

Richard

If you're referring to Firefox, then I would have to say 'no'. I've never heard of Foxfire, so if there is such a thing, then disregard my answer.:smileywink:  But if you ARE talking about FF web browser, don't worry, it's a lot nicer than IE7 in many ways. Although I don't use Outlook, so I'm not sure of the issues there, but I'm guessing nothing major will happen.

    Good luck:smileyhappy:

    Rich-
When I said "no" I meant, you shouldn't have any problems. I wasn't answering the "is it worth messing with" question:smileywink:  I  love Firefox, so I say go for it!

Just so we're clear...ok that's all I wanted to say

I am currently using SeaMonkey, which does both email and browser (news
groups too). It's kinda like a combo of Foxfire and Thunderbird.

Foxfire will work great for you on XP, but be sure to set
it as your main browser when you are asked. IE is really junque.

But if you do email as well, you would do well to replace IE and OE
    with SeaMonkey.

"it's a lot nicer than IE7 in many ways"

Seems to be personal preference. Firefox was once considered safer than IE, but that is no longer true.

zras01, you should have no problems installing Firefox.
