I can no longer access internet with any of my browsers. when i try to uninstall browsers in safe mode I get the message:

HKEY Local machine software \BVRP key is missing. Out of safe mode I get the message when trying to uninstall:

Error 1321 the installer has insufficient privileges to modify the file.

I am on small net work house-barn-notebook. i am the only user.

I can download and send e-mails and i get updates for anti-virus and spyware. the other two non-dell computers work fine.

is there a way to reinstall OS without deleting all of my files? I do not have the CD i have Norton ghost on harddrive.

Is there a way to replace missing HKEY?

There are no virus or spyware - checked with webroot, ewido, superantispyware, norton, kapersky, avg

there is nothing unusual in hijack log i can see.
