Like computers will too frequently do, something has gone awry with mine. I am using Windows XP Home Edition with SP2 and all up updates on a DELL Dimension 4100. All had been working fine. Now, when I left click a folder to OPEN it, the SEARCH program starts. The workaround is to right click and select OPEN from the options listed. Apparently, on the left click the SEARCH command has become the default command in stead of the OPEN command, as the SEARCH command is the first option listed on the right click. Can you tell me how to make the OPEN command the default for the left mouse click on a folder?

Thanks.
