Mouse Constantly Displays "Working in Background" Symbol
I had this problem on my last laptop from Dell and I was running Windows 7 on that also. There must be SOME program that I have installed that makes my computer run constantly in the background. I've contacted Dell but they are no help. They don't seem to understand the probem and tell me that it is normal. It is NOT normal. The working in the background symbol (the moving round circle any time the computer is thinking) comes on ALL THE TIME. I barely even do anything. Sometimes just moving my mouse activates it. Any ideas? Suggestions? I can't be the only one with this problem....
Are you also getting any popups or errors while that spinning circle appears? I appears that you system might have picked up some kind of a Trojan or virus. In this situation, I would suggest you to scan the system using your antivirus and check if it detects something malicious.
In case if you still have issue, then please send me your system’s Service Tag and Account Name in a private message so that I can also check your system specifications.
There is no virus. I literally just bought the computer 2 weeks ago and antivirus doesn't find anything. I had this same problem with my last computer. I did a system restore and that solved the problem for a little while, but the other night it started again. And I hadn't installed any programs in awhile. I'll send you my computer information .
