multiple desk tops
I have Windows XP and share the computer with my wife. If I make a shortcut from the start menu to my desk top, example Excell, Freecell, etc, it removes it from the start menu and my wife can't have the short cut on her desk top. Surely there is a way that we both can have the same short cuts on our desk tops.Any sugestions?

Creating a shortcut to a program should not remove it from your All Programs listing.
Be that as it may, if you wish to have the same shortcuts on both desktops open Windows Explorer and go to Documents and Settings\Your account\Desktop. Select any shortcuts you wish to have on both desktops, right-click them and select "Cut." Then go to Documents and Settings\All Users|Desktop. Right-click the Desktop folder and select "Paste."
