Recently bought/ installed Sony DRU-820A DVD/CD burner. Came with Sony software disc- Nero Express 6. Tried to oad, Error message-'Error during installation of component aacenc.32. Can any one help me to get this to load??
That is a Nero file. Someone else recently had problems installing the Nero Express 6 that came with a new Sony drive. I don't think it was ever resolved. Have you checked the Sony site to see if there is an update or updated version of Nero 6?
Do a System Restore back to a date/time prior to first attempting to install the Nero software and then try a fresh install and see if that will work. You failed to note your PC Model Number and Operating System, although I assume it's Windows XP since you've posted in the Windows XP section of the forum (your question should have been posted in the "Other Software" since it's not a Windows XP question). If the Nero is attempting to install "InCD" that could also be a problem since you already have a UDF formatting program as that can also be an issue. (if you have a Dell PC that came with a CD Burner). Again, more info would have been helpful.
