hello :)

I recently wiped out / reformatted my entire hard drive. now I don't have any Floppy Driver.

I was able to install all my other drivers. graphics driver, sound driver, ect ect. but I can't find out how to get my floppy driver. in "My Computer" there's no "A:\" listed.
I've been told the Floppy Driver is supposed to just always be on your system, it's in your systems Database and you never need to 'install' it..
But i wiped out my HD via overwriting methods.. so it's gone now

I've popped in the 'Dell Resource CD', which is supposed to have all main system drivers, but there's no Floppy Driver listed on it.
can anyone help me out? I've searched the internet. can't find anything.
this has actually happened before, but I forgot how I fixed it.

PS. I don't want any 3rd party drivers.. I know they exist, but I just want the default floppy driver I used to have!
specs: Dell Dimension 2400, Windows XP sp2
