nVidia MCP61drivers
Running Vista home Premium. DELL Inspiron 531
I recently received the following email from Dell
Video: nVidia MCP61, Driver, Windows Vista 32-bit, Multi Language, Inspiron Desktop 531, 531S, v.7.15.11.5822, A01
Criticality: Recommended
Release Date: 07/09/2007 00:00:00
Description: Fixed Screen becomes garbage when system wake up from S3 and then to S4

On trying to install it I get the message that the software does not recognise the operating system as windows vista and therefore the installation will not continue.
Any help would be appreciated.

- I beg to differ! Dell does appear to send emails. This one gives links to the Dell relevant driver page. I have copied it here for your perusal. The Realtek driver installed correctly and did what it is supposed to do.I actually opted for this email advice service on the Del website.Any comments?Bob
