Outlook Express 6

In Windows XP Home Outlook Express 6 when trying to open a file attached to an incoming message (usually a photo in jpeg format) an error message appears: "This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action.  Create an association in the Folder Options Panel"
Someone please help a newbie.

    Denny,

The type of file is "EasySharejpg".  Using "Start>search>all files and folders>EasySharejpg" no results are found.  What am I doing wrong?

    Ace High,

That is not a valid file type. If the file name has the extension .jpg it can be opened with Internet Explorer, Windows Picture and Fax Viewere, or Microsoft Paint. If the file name is EasyShare.jpg, save it to the disk from within Outlook Express then you can right-click it and make the association.
