Quicktime problem uninstall and reinstall Help........
Got ipods and downloaded all that was supposed to be downloaded. Had a problem and had to unistall ipod software. Once problem was fixed tried download again @ ipod.com and downloaded. Now the idop software won't run and i believe the quicktime was the problem. I tried uninstall quicktime but it says that it's not installed on computer though add/delete program.
I tried number of time to unistall ipod software and delete, restart. When i try and reinstall ipod software getting error for Microsoft wanting me to send error message to microsoft or Don't send.
Now neither will install and have no Quicktime or can't run program.
Anyone know how to uninstall Quicktime and reinstall quicktime?
Apparently you have a Windows XP machine, as you've posted in the Windows XP section (this should have been posted in the other software as it's not a Windows XP issue).
But, use the "System Restore" feature and restore your PC to a date/time to first installing the IPod software. That should get you back to where you started. Maybe you will be able to install it then.
One note, Quicktime and the iPod software can be problematic on some PC's. I've seen posts in various sections of the forum with problems.
