Screen Saver

I am unable to get the screen saver to work. I have gone into Control Panel, selected the Personalisation option and

a) selected my screen saver
b) set the time at which it should activate
c) applied the change, then OK'd, it

But it does not work. Is there a gremlin or have I missed something?

Yes, I am using a Microsoft wireless mouse. How ironic! Don't tell me one microsoft product is incompatible with another? Is there a solution to this other than getting rid of my wireless mouse?

Yes, there's a problem with that Wiireless device.

You can go to START > type Windows Update on the  on the search bar look for updates ( Microsoft HID Non-User Input Data Filter) If you see it, go ahead and install it, if you don't see it go to Device Manager, under pointing devices, go to your wireless mouse, and then give a rigth clickm, then click on update driver, then click on Search automatcally, and let it go, it should work.
