Sometimes when the computer goes into power saving mode and I reactivate it.  all the icons are large and I get a popup window that is labled "Scrolling now Active" and

the narrative reads"Scrolling has been activated,as there are now more catagories than can fit te screen etc.

I'm using Vista Home Premium.

I've been running S'ystem Restore" to return the screen to normal.

What causes this to happen?

how can I correct this without running system restore?

Thanks

Bill
