Security Setting Windows XP Home Edition

I have taken Norton off (anti-virus) and wanted to install three different other kinds, and there is an error msg that says I have to change security settings.  What do I do?

Are you logged on as administrator or restricted user?

What exactly the error message says?

Log in on an unrestricted account. Install another virus protection and it will go away. It's just warning you that you don't have virus protection installed. It will also warn you when the virus protection is out of date.

    I recommend using...

Mrs. Pookie, We need some clarification on what you want to install. You should only run one virus protector. Running more than one will most certainly cause you problems with your computer. You can run multiple malware/spyware programs, but only one virus protector.
