system restore

I have a Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition 4600

Some how I lost all my system restore to a earlier time which went back for a couple months.

Next time I looked it only gave me system restore for the present day. Anyway to get the

the old restore points back of are they gone forever ?? Appreciate any advice

You must have ran software that cleans temp, internet, etc files.. If you chose to save a backup before deleting, you can retrive them from that program if thats what happened..
