uninstalling McAfee
I wish to uninstall McAfee and can't find info. in my computer.
Reason is that I really don't understand McAfee's operation and messages..
Have now installed Norton which I understand from previouse use.
Can you tell me please, how to UNINSTALL McAfee?

Thank muchly for prompt and precise assistance..
tried it, with a couple variances in the boxes, but got through it, I hope.
this is the first time I'm using this Community Forum, and in fact, this system, and on this first try, an 110percent happy about it. Nice to know there are kindred Dellers and Microsofter out there sharing our concerns.

Select - > Start => Settings => Control Panel.
Double-click the Add/Remove Programs icon.
Select McAfee VirusScan from the list of installed applications.
If you are running Windows 98, Windows NT Workstation 4.0, or Windows Me, click Add/Remove.
If you are running Windows 2000 Professional, or Windows XP Professional, click Remove
Click Yes.
The VirusScan Maintenance Wizard will appear:
VirusScan Maintenance Wizard Step 01
Click Next.
VirusScan Maintenance Wizard Step 02
Select the Remove radio button, then click Next.
VirusScan Maintenance Wizard Step 03
Click Remove.
VirusScan Maintenance Wizard Step 04
Click Finish.
Reboot your computer.
