Viewpoint

I have a program that seems to have appeared from no where, it is in C:\Program Files/Viewpiont it is not is not in Start/All programs and I cannot find it in Control /Add remove. Task manager says it is running I have tried to uninstall, but access is denied.
In the main folder it has folders such as Viewpoint Toolbar and Viewpoint Media Player I cannot find away to open or run them. If it as installed itself I would like to uninstall. Any information would help.
Many thanks

Thanks plenty of very good instructions, but I cannot get rid of it or use it, there's no Viewpoint Toolbar and no entry in the Add Remove Program. I have tried deleting the Veiwpoint folder but it will not allow me to. I have gone to the site and tried reinstalling over the top, but it won't. Having read the literature I am quite happy with the program, it seems to me ,I need to get rid of it and start again or find a means of reloading some of the information in the folders, such as the toolbar etc. More help required.
    Thanks

Have you tried booting to the safe mode and then deleting the folder?

You are welcome! No, deleting a folder will not remove the entries from the registery but you can run regedit and search keyword viewpoint and remove the entries.
