Volume Icon

My "Volume Icon" has disappeared. I have checked the box in "Sounds and Audio" but it that doesn't put the icon in the taskbar. I don't receive any error messages.
The "Remove Hardware Safely" icon is also gone. Rebooting doesn't help.

Right click on the "taskbar" on the desktop and then click on properties , You will have the "taskbar and user name porperties" screen ,
in the taskbar tab click on "customize" and then check for your voume icon and safely remove hardware icon  and on the right side of them click and select "Always Show"
That should fix that , if not Please reply we will try something else.
    "Hope everything works fine "

Thanks, But that didn't work. I did a System Restore and reinstalled each application again and all is well.
