Want Windows XP Display

I have windows XP. My taskbar has the "classic" look. How do I change it to the Windows XP look.

Go to Start|Control Panel|Display and on the Appearance tab select "XP Style" under Windows and Buttons.

Funny, since I like to keep my old windows classic display and it seems every couple of days the screen reverts back to XP default. I keep resetting it the colors back to the way I want them, but then I will re-start one day and they are back to the default again.

This started a few weeks ago.

I did install service pack 2 and MS Streets a little before then.
