may saved screen shots in my photos folder have recently shrunk to a really tiny size. tried reinstalling utilities in control panel since that is where the paint comes from. always asks for files like (\i386 OR ADMXPROP.DLL or other from windows cd ) I put in cd but it doesn'
t work??? screen shots used to work just fine pasting them in paint.
anybody's input appreciated.
dell dimension 40 gb hd , dvd n cd writer ,etc.
dugedoodle.
the images were saved the way i had always done , and I do not know what size ? I do know it used to work. how do I tell what size are the images both befor saving and after? I use the alt prt screen keys to save the image of the screen and then open paint and paste from the menu in that program. Have recenlt learned that. The paint I did try reinstall and that is when i get those messages. opens a window to find the files and then I try using the cd drive to get the files, but they do not work from the cd.

What size were the images when you saved them to the hard disk, and what size are they now?
What is the exact error message you receive related to I386 or ADMXPROP.DLL? Do you receive those errors when you attempt to reinstall Paint?
