Windows XP download in DELL website
Where can I download a copy of XP? I have the codes for the XP that was loaded on the desktop.
Also, where can I find the instructions to transfer/copy from old hard drive to a new hard drive using the same platform.

The hard drive manufacturer has software that lets you clone the contents of an old hard drive to the new hard drive you just bought.
You will need a USB to IDE/SATA cable.

There are many utilities for cloning one drive to another.
Otherwise, you can borrow a friend's Dell XP disk or purchase one on eBay.

You cannot download windows xp. If you are the original owner and live in the US you can request a replacement set of disks including the windows disk here: support.dell.com/.../backupcd_form
