Windows XP Setup

Windows XP Setup can't get past a step where it stops and says "Cannot find a CD-Rom drive."  I'm trying to run setup for the sole purpose of reinstalling system fonts.  The drive is a Dell installed Samsung CDRW/DVD SM-352F and is listed as compatible.

    perhaps problem in CD, so try to run setup from other CD

    Are you saying that the problem may be with the CD itself, and not the drive?

    u boot from cd,  u beginning setup windows XP and if when system like copy files in the hard disk u get message error. try to Change the CD and boot ure pc
