WPA with XP SP2
I am trying to configure a Dell C400 for WPA/TKIP. The laptop is running XP with SP2. I want to use windows wireless client. When I try to configure it the WPA/TKIP option is not available. Only
allows for OPEN/WEP. Does anyone know why I can't get WPA/TKIP support. It is my understanding SP2 has the support already installed with no need for the patch/update like SP1.
All other users that have a laptop with XP/SP2 have the WPA/TKIP option.
Thanks

You may need a firmware update for the wireless card. . WPA is newer than WEP and the card may not have the firmware that allows it.
